Actual (A). What the world hands you. The numerator of the Reality Equation. It comes from the Immutable Past, the complete record of what has happened, and no one has any agency over it. Normalized to one by convention when the equation is used to understand experience.

Actualizer. Whatever is having the Reality. Usually a person, but not necessarily: a marriage, a family, a company, a nation, a forest or a planet can each be an Actualizer with a Reality of its own. At any instant there is one Reality value for the Actualizer in question.

AAH. A reading above one. Actual exceeded Expectation. The good surprise.

Angle (θ). The direction of Expectation, how much of it lies along Prediction and how much rises toward the Ideal. It is present in the denominator and carried into surprise, but it is not felt. "The angle does not change how much you were paid. It changes which way the payment turns you."

Architect. Her role. The design is always hers.

Attention. A ledger, not a spotlight. Attention is where the surprise your Prediction could not absorb accumulates and settles: what you notice is what your machine did not absorb. It cannot be aimed, manufactured or borrowed, only freed.

Bearing. The direction of your Expectation, its angle. A sum of every commitment kept and abandoned; most of them cancel, and what survives points somewhere. It turns, and as it turns it crosses conditions that were standing there all along. You do not choose your bearing. You build your sum.

Builder. His role in the myth, and ours when we love well. The one who gives form to a design that is not his own.

Cardinal ideas. The four bearings forced by the law of no undoing, one quarter-turn apart: hierarchy at 0, the condition of distinction; significance at a quarter-turn, the bid, what could be otherwise; fairness at a half-turn, the answer, the condition under which an imbalance can be answered; symmetry at three quarters, the closure, the settling of what the bid opened. The mathematics is literal; the names are interpretation. They are where the compass is calibrated, not the whole circle.

Conditioned love. Love with a lean. Ideas are conditioned love: unconditioned love given a boundary, as white light becomes every hue on the wheel, each exactly itself, and so each a lean. All human love is conditioned, which is what makes it real.

Eternal now. The only place anyone has ever lived. The living vibration between the Unknowable Future and the Immutable Past, which are its still ends.

Event horizon. Her edge, borrowed from astronomy. The threshold where what has not happened becomes what has, and past which nothing returns.

Expectation (E). What the unconscious comparison machine brings to the moment. The denominator of the Reality Equation. It is prior, never zero, never chosen, and complex: E = P + iI.

Habitualization. The slow process by which a realization becomes an expectation, through repeated action that becomes history. Rare, where realization is common.

He. The Unknowable Future. The open field of every possibility, leaning toward none; in the myth, the source of unconditioned love. Strictly, a node: real, but not existing, and not acting. "He loves her" is frame-language, not a mechanism.

History. Everything your actions leave behind, once it has crossed into the past. History is Actual, and only Actual retrains Prediction. Consciousness does not manufacture the future; it manufactures history.

Ideal, or Idea (I). The imaginary part of Expectation. An idea is a named condition: a prerequisite for something to happen or exist, standing at a fixed bearing, with no interior and no wants. Ideas do not travel; you turn. People do not have ideas; ideas have people, because a relation has a direction.

Immutable Past. She. Complete actuality: everything that has happened, finished, with no options and no uncertainty left in it. Still, whole, singular. Not a warehouse or a timeline; those are pictures we make from our side. Strictly, a node.

Intelligent spontaneity. In the myth, action that arrives without deliberation and is nevertheless exact, because it draws directly on a design that already exists. Structurally, how the unconditioned future looks from inside the vibration.

Lens (V). Your view of a Reality: V = k·R + a. Willful, not lawful. The lens never changes Reality; it only changes what you are in relation with. Ignorance is not checking the meter. Delusion is treating your view as the Reality.

Loved. The past tense of love, and its preferred tense. The one tense that cannot be revoked.

Mark. What an action leaves in the record. Every mark is permanent, and every mark is a miss: no drawn circle is the perfect circle. The question to ask of a mark is fidelity, not success.

OO. A reading below one. Actual fell short of Expectation. The disappointment.

Orientation. Where you stand relative to a fixed idea, and which way you lean along its diameter. Equal weighting cancels, so orientation requires a lean. A counterfeit sits a hair's breadth from the real thing, just on the other side of it, and feels exactly as sincere; read the marks, not the motive.

Possession and silence. The two limits of the meter, neither a place to live. Possession, as Reality falls toward zero, when Expectation swamps whatever arrives: the structure of despair. Silence, as Reality climbs toward infinity, when there is almost nothing to compare against: the edge the contemplatives call bliss.

Prediction (P). The real part of Expectation. The forecast of habit and history made by the subconscious. Stable, malleable, retrained only by what keeps arriving.

Realized idea. The moment your bearing crosses a condition you can name, bending Prediction and temporarily changing how the world arrives. It fades; the knowing it leaves does not. A realization is private recognition; only a mark reaches the record.

Reality (R). A ratio. Actual divided by Expectation. A reading on a meter, belonging always to a particular Actualizer.

She. The Immutable Past. The architect, in the myth. She does not love him back, not from coldness but from structure: to turn toward him she would have to be incomplete.

Standing wave. The picture underneath the myth. A vibration held between two still points, the future and the past. Everything that exists vibrates; the nodes do not. We are the vibration, the one place in the structure where love is felt as love.

Suffering. Not a value of Reality. Roughly grip times drift times time: how hard you insist on holding your chosen view, how much the world's frame moves under you, and for how long. Grip lives in the lens, which is willful; its opposite is flow, letting the view follow the live meter.

Surprise (S). The lawful read of Reality: S = ln R. You feel only its real part, the comparison of Actual against the length of Expectation. The angle is carried through and not felt.

The road. The only path by which Expectation changes: act on Reality, actions leave artifacts, artifacts become history, history is Actual, Actual retrains Prediction. It runs one way, and it is slow.

Unconditioned love. Love without a lean. His love. Provision that prefers no outcome and therefore can become anything that is needed.

Unitless stability. A reading of exactly one. Present, conscious, without the charge of unexpectedness.
